SEO for business the next chapter

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Like most developers and creatives, our biggest business problem is in rejecting ideas and prioritising our customers requirements, so we can meet them.

We try to be market research lead and solve existing problems with technology people already are familiar with. Because in business, teaching your customers about anything, is incredibly expensive and frail. That’s something about product development you learn quite quickly :-)

But there are lots of real existing problems out there, all crying out to be solved in a better, more productive, efficient, way. So how do you choose?

Well that problem of our own has become a problem we would like to solve for you!

But first of all, let’s look at what the business problem is and why it needs solving.

Let’s examine some core facts.

Q) What is a business?
A) A business is a system that provides value to customers.

Q) Who business are we in?
A) Depends on who your customers are.

Q) Who are our customers?
A) Depends on what your business is.

LOL. Can you see our first issue here?

Q) What business is worth establishing?
A) Depends on what the customers problems are.

Q) How do we find out what the customers problems are?
A) You ask them.

Q) If they aren’t our customers yet, and we may not even be in that business yet, how do we know who or where to ask?
A) Yes!

LOL. Can you see our second issue here?

OK more on this in a moment…

BAI Image

Friday, January 9th, 2009

I can’t tell you how many times, as a web publisher, I have need to open a paint program like Adobe Photoshop, just to create an image of a word on a background, and make it to size, so I can use it in a web page.

I mean I’m not even a graphic designer, yet I seemed to live in my art package.

Not any more!

Using the BuicAK ProductMatrix ” Image” I can take any of my library of backrounds and images an anotate it with text, and then save it in the size and format I need.

But tht wasn’t enough!

So I added an “animation” feature so I cna create a sequecne of iamges ot use as a web banner or advert, or a web page icing splash. Or even an animated avatar icon.

And all without the complexities of multiple menus, toolbars and other distractions.

As part of the Product Matrix (each program is licensed as you need them to keep the costs down), it is always loaded on my dsesktop and ready to go in to action.
It only does a few jobs, but it is the ones I need the most and it does them very well.

I can’t tell you the time I have saved using “BAI Image”. You could save time too! And create some neat looking graphics using the library of elements included.
